Frequently Asked Questions

Where am I located?

My in-person office is located at 775 E Holland Ave Suite 102, Spokane WA 99218. Virtual sessions will be conducted via SimplePractice, whereby you will receive a link to join each meeting.

What are my rates?

My rate for both individual and couples therapy is $125 for 50-minute sessions, $175 for 75-minute sessions.

How long will I be in therapy for?

The best answer I have is we will plan to meet until you feel as though you are satisfied with the progress you have made in the areas you were hoping to grow. Therapy is not easy to put into a timeframe, and will depend on what you want to work on, how frequently we meet, as well as who you are as a person. We are all different and each persons journey will differ according to those differences.

What does the therapeutic process look like?

The first few sessions will be focused on us getting comfortable with one another and helping me get to know you, what is bringing you in, and setting goals for our time together. Sometimes this looks like many questions from me, sometimes it does not. Following these first few sessions, we will begin to dive deeper into what it is that you are wanting to work on per our previous sessions.

Good Faith Estimate Notice

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes therapy services.

Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your session.

You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
